How long has Livestock Junction been used within your business?
5 months – we rolled Livestock Junction out on 1 October 2024.
What is your favorite feature or benefit of using Livestock Junction?
Livestock Junction is very user friendly and easy to navigate. The ongoing support and ability to customise the program to meet our needs is invaluable.
How has Livestock Junction improved efficiency or streamlined processes in your business?
Livestock Junction has enabled us to track our animals and their progress on an individual basis. Being a sheep feedlot, our needs are vastly different to that of a cattle feedlot. Livestock Junction has been able to tailor reports to accurately record and report progress and information specific to lambs and the lamb industry.
Can you share a specific example of how Livestock Junction has helped solve a challenge within your business?
Single animal management has allowed us to manage costs and gauge costs/profits more accurately which in turn has allowed us to make more informed decisions to benefit the profitability of the business.
What advice would you give to someone considering Livestock Junction for their business?
Livestock Junction has been a game changer for us at Victoria Hill Lamb. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the program to anyone. The major difference between Livestock Junction and the other management software programs (that we have both used and trialed) is the ongoing support and the ability to customise the program to meet individual needs. Nothing is too difficult for Andrew and the team!
